Sir,
I am an NRI in Sharjah, UAE, since 1976. In march 2011 I made a complaint to the Consulate General of India Offices in Dubai that my eastern neighbor (Mohandas, Maya) illegally erected a wall over the stream that runs through my property at Omalloor, Pathanamthitta. The CGI office ackwoledged receipt of my complaint and issued a letter to the SP of Pathanamthitta with a copy to District Collector and NORKA. The CGI gave me a copy of that and advised me to also forward the CGI letter to the SP and DC of Pathanamthitta, which I did.

Three weeks ago some Police visited my property where the illegal wall was constructed by my neighbor, and off they went back. And to-date, no action appears to have been taken by the authorities in having the wall removed and the stream restored to its original position.

On 11th April 2011, the Mohandas Maya household yet again asked their workers to encroach on my property and dig/steel a large quantity of soil and filled it in their property behind the said illegal wall. A friend of mine, Mr Sasidharan, Kottooreth House, Omalloor, who also happens to play a small role in looking after my properties on my behalf, asked the said workers to replace the soil they took from property to its original position. The workers did that, however, Lady Maya got angry and walked all her way to Sasidharan's house and abused him. She then lodged a complaint with the Pathanamthitta Police Station that Sasidharan verbally abused her, which was a false complaint.
